The genealogy information found on this site is the result of many individuals efforts over the years to document our ancestors. We have tried to avoid mistakes in information but some mispelling and date errors are inevitable.

There are many people that provided help to me but two I must name. Marie Luter Upton wrote a small book called 'Uptons Ups and Downs" many years ago that contained much of my Upton information. Betty Weems Neathery has shared almost all of the information which I have on the Weems and Shirley families. She continues to be the best sorce of information on these families.
